  • Why should I buy your products?

    We are foodies! We also live for adventure. We designed our products out of a desire to take food on the go to the park, beach, camping, lakes, pools, sporting events -- ANYWHERE without compromising the safety and integrity of the food. Food packaging and single-use containers are a major source of pollution that makes its way into the ocean and chemical toxins in the food storage are associated with adverse health effects. We believe there should be a better way. There was a need for intuitive design solutions that promote clean, long-lasting and versatile products. We have taken the most desired qualities of all food storage containers and combined them all into one intelligent multi-functional system to give you the freedom to take your food anywhere.

  • Can I purchase gift certificates?

    Yes, we're glad you asked. Two options are available to share reVessel products with the special people in your life. You may purchase a print-friendly certificate to present or mail. Just add it to your cart with the rest of your order and checkout. When your order is processed, you will receive an email with a downloadable, print-ready certificate. We also offer email-ready certificates. Just add it to your cart with the rest of your order and checkout. When your order is processed, the gift beneficiary will receive an email with instructions on how to redeem.

  • How do I redeem a gift certificate?

    Gift certificate redemption is simple. Follow these steps to activate and apply your gift:

    1. Shop reVessel.com and add products to your cart.
    2. Click the "view and edit cart" from the shopping cart icon dropdown.
    3. Enter your gift card claim code (located in gift email or printed certificate) into the "use a gift card" field.
    4. Click "activate" to apply

    The gift card status and balance will be visible in the shopping cart. You are ready to checkout.

  • Do you charge my card for a pre-order?

    For pre-orders, it is our policy to charge the full amount of the order up front. We do this to ensure funds are available at the time of order and ensure our production meets the demand so products are guaranteed to the customer ordering. We also wish to avoid the risk of surprise or confusion about a charge on a statement months after the order was placed as inventory is expected in Summer 2019. We do not take pre-orders to finance the project. We are committed to updating our loyal fans regularly through our email newsletter, Blog and social media [ Instagram | Facebook | Twitter ].

    A pre-order can be cancelled and refunded in-full at any time prior to shipping, as long as the order is not in transit or in the shipping queue.

  • When will your reVessel products be available?

    After design enhancements and process improvements, we are now officially in production. Our first limited quantity release, the Adventure Kit, is now shipping October, 2019. All new pre-orders are shipping within 60 days of order. We expect full Adventure Kit inventory by December, 2019. We are dedicated to transparency and continually update our community of reVessel subscribers with the latest information on product releases and promotions via our email newsletter, on our website Blog and on social media.     Initially, all of our products will be available through our eCommerce site, revessel.com. As we identify new retail and ecommerce partners, we will make announcements through our social media platforms and email newsletter.

  • Where are your products made?

    The highest quality and sustainable solutions are two key drivers behind our innovation and supplier selection. Our products are designed in the US and manufactured overseas with strict guidelines. We take a proactive approach to managing chemicals, traceability and certifications. We strive for our products to make it to your hands with the least amount of environmental impact while still being widely affordable.

  • What materials do you use?

    We are committed to staying on top of the latest research on the safest known materials. Selecting materials that are the most favorable with the least impact to human and environmental health is a priority. We will not compromise or take shortcuts on materials and quality for the sake of convenience as we expect our products to endure for decades. The only materials intended for food contact are our stainless steel vessel and inserts as well as food grade silicone for our lids.

  • Why do you have plastic parts?

    We are committed to helping you avoid food coming into contact with plastic... ever. That is why all parts that may touch your food are made with high quality food grade stainless steel and silicone. We also believe that in order for our products to make a difference, they need to be cost effective, highly functional and manufacturable. We are always looking to advance the plastic free movement and are currently innovating to reduce dependency on petrochemical derived materials, replacing them with durable and sustainable materials that can perform at the highest level.

  • What colors are available for The Adventure Kit?

    While many pictures of The Adventure Kit have been posted showing various colors from black silicone to red, teal or opaque white, these are either renderings or early prototypes showcasing functionality. The actual color options for the Adventure Kit lid and silicone storage lids have not yet been announced. We plan to reveal color options by the end of the year accompanied by exciting news about advances in our design and final materials creating even more uses for this dynamic product.   • What certifications do the products have?

    Since our products are made to protect and preserve food, our products must meet the standards as set by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). While these guidelines are important, we believe this is the minimum protection for consumers and the environment. We intend to be among the leaders setting the highest standard for safety, functionality and lifespan.

  • Can I heat/bake/reheat in the oven?

    There are many options to heat and reheat your food in our reVessel stainless steel containers. From a toaster oven to conventional oven, a hot plate to grill (see FAQ below regarding use on an open flame), we have tested products up to 400 degrees with the ability to continue using them as intended. In higher heat environments and with uncontrolled flames, use only at your own risk. Be sure to always monitor flame and food and turn or stir food often to avoid burning. Be sure that all other components and accessories are removed prior to baking or reheating the stainless steel containers.

  • Can I put the containers on an open flame?

    Yes, we have tested the products in a number of rugged environments including open flame, both gas and wood-burning making this line of products ideal for bbqs, camping and outdoor environments. Exposure to a mild open flame does not compromise the integrity of the material, but can temporarily cause a blackening of the exterior with wood burning. To clean the surface, we suggest a mild cleaning solution with gentle abrasive such as baking soda and castile soap to completely remove blackening along the bottom or sides of the vessel caused by an open flame. We recommend cooking low and slow to prevent exposure to carcinogens such as heterocyclic amines (HCAs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Be sure that all other components and accessories are removed prior to baking or reheating the stainless steel containers.

    We have designed our products to fit your life at whatever stage you are in. We believe they should last a lifetime to require the production of fewer products that can be reused to meet your needs.
